Welcome to Iskandhar School
Iskandhar School had its beginning on 10th May 1961 as Hameediya Montessori School. In October 1970 the school name was changed to Naasiryya Montessori School. On the 13th Anniversary of the school, on 1979 the name was changed to Iskandhar Montessori School corresponding with the name of Sultan Ibrahim Iskandhar. And in 1st January 1980 the school name was changed to the present name ISKANDHAR SCHOOL. In 1990 Iskandhar School became a full-fledged primary school with grades 1 to 5. At the end of 1999 Iskandhar had a student population of 1519. And with the introduction of grade 6 in and grade 7 in 2000 it increased to 2115 students.
The school which had a humble beginning with just 185 students, now has 2287 students in its enrolment, and with grades 1-7
Iskandhar School, has been fortunate to have efficient and skilled captains to steer the school to the foray of success. The principals had their total dedications, commitment and vision which have contributed immensely in maintaining the image, prestige and culture of the school over all these years.
